It is with the deepest regret that as the founder of lastinghealth.com that I have taken the incredibly hard decision to close  this enterprise.

My original intention for lastinghealth.com was always to bring to the public attention what I believe to be the very serious issue of the enormous number of trace toxins in the environment for which so little is understood about their potential impact on our health.

Over the course of the last generation when the world has seen a circa 40% increase in its population, cancer  has broadly doubled, and brain disease trebled. There has been an approximate halving of male semen counts. There are other adverse health trends. Whilst there will be a number of reasons  for these worrying trends, and which are not yet fully understood, there is science to support our concern that trace toxins are a significant part of the problem.

Our social media campaign  has reached over 1 million people. With website visits numbering in the tens of thousands since we launched our test Servive in May, I am pleased to have a made a contribution to public awareness.

However, in order to be able to maintain the business we needed to sell home test kits. Sadly, we have failed in that regard.

But on a positive note the government has very recently developed a new initiative in recognition of this concern in establishing the Chemical Threats and Hazards Health Protection Research Unit (CTH HPRU).  We very much hope this will lead to a deeper understanding and help protect future generations through information and greater awareness.
